Description
Benneton Graveur Editions is proud to present a new art bronze edition based on the original collection of 19th-century bronzes belonging to Maison Benneton Graveur, Paris, art publisher and engraver since 1880.
The charm and the attributes of the natural setting chosen by the artist makes ‘WOODCOCK HUNTING A FROG’ an interesting and endearing piece.
Emmanuel Frémiet (1824-1910) is recognised as one of the best animal sculptors of the 19th century, along with Valton and Barye. He is notably renowned for his precision rendering of the details he represents in the animal subjects that inspire him.
The pieces are numbered from 1 to 500/500 and bear the ‘Benneton Graveur Éditions’ stamp;
Benneton Graveur, Paris, art publisher and engraver since 1880.
