Since 1880

In 1880, Émile Benneton, a French bronze artist, heraldic engraver and chaser, founded Maison Benneton Graveur on Boulevard Malesherbes, in the heart of Paris’s Plaine Monceau.

Parisian society, well versed in the codes of good manners, soon knew the address by heart.

A master of his craft, Émile Benneton soon established a distinctive vision and an exceptional attention to detail. His devotion to handwork, the precision of his line and his eye for remarkable creations shaped the identity of the Maison. Before long, his name became a recognised signature, quietly shared among the most discerning circles.

From one generation to the next, the Benneton family became a leading name in social stationery and heraldic engraving.

On his death, Monsieur Benneton left a hand-engraved legacy, carefully preserved by those who succeeded him. For three generations, women known simply as “Madame Benneton” carried this heritage forward.

Royal courts and distinguished clients from around the world commissioned visiting cards, writing paper, ex-libris, invitations and armorial jewellery, drawn by the Maison’s command of tradition, its savoir-faire and the elegance of its creations.

For more than a century, excellence has remained at the heart of every creation bearing the Benneton Graveur name.

Still found on announcements, correspondence cards, invitations and ex-libris, this signature remains a mark of quality and refinement.

A discreet and distinguished name in French cultural heritage, Benneton Graveur has continued to evolve while serving an international and discerning clientele: private clients, institutions, the worlds of business, art and fashion, and younger generations drawn to the passing on of tradition.
