75 Boulevard Malesherbes

Marcel Proust lived for many years at number 9, Coco Chanel began her career as a milliner at number 160, and the future architect Robert Mallet-Stevens was born at number 60. Composer Gabriel Fauré lived at number 154, while Françoise Sagan wrote Bonjour Tristesse at number 167. Émile Benneton chose number 75 as the home of his business.

Located at 75 Boulevard Malesherbes in Paris’s eighth arrondissement, the Benneton Graveur boutique is a discreet landmark where history and the decorative arts have come together since 1880.

Founded by Émile Benneton, a French bronze artist, engraver and chaser, the Maison still retains the spirit of its founder. The boutique’s ironwork, designed and made by Émile Benneton himself, bears witness to the refinement and artisanal excellence that have defined the Maison from the beginning.

Behind its discreet black-and-gold façade, adorned with oak leaves, the interior has remained unchanged since the Maison was founded, preserving the singular atmosphere of a century-old Parisian house. Antique woodwork, delicate display cases, exceptional papers, engravings and works of art create a timeless setting shaped by calm, tradition and refinement.

Within this carefully preserved setting, time seems to stand still. A devoted team welcomes a discerning French and international clientele, who come to commission bespoke creations made in keeping with the finest French traditions and savoir-faire.

From Paris to New York, Benneton Graveur has established a presence at landmark addresses including the Champs-Élysées, the Ritz, Hôtel Plaza Athénée and Bergdorf Goodman.

For more than a century, these distinguished addresses have reflected the reach of exceptional French savoir-faire and the enduring loyalty of clients to creations bearing the Benneton Graveur name.

A discreet and distinguished name in French cultural heritage, Benneton Graveur has continued to evolve while serving an international and discerning clientele: private clients, institutions, the worlds of business, art and fashion, and younger generations drawn to the passing on of tradition.
