Ex-libris

Celebrating the book as an object to be treasured and passed on.

Traditionally printed or engraved on laid paper and affixed inside a volume, the ex-libris lends each book elegance and character while marking it as one’s own.

Whether featuring a coat of arms, a motto, a monogram or a composition inspired by a personal world, it becomes an expression of a story, a sensibility and a legacy.

Since 1880, Our Maison has designed and created bespoke ex-libris, conceived around your inspirations and produced in keeping with the Maison’s savoir-faire and traditions.

A bespoke creation

An ex-libris reveals its owner’s identity through a carefully considered composition.

Conceived as a signature in its own right, it subtly brings together a name, coat of arms, motto or motifs drawn from a personal world, set off by a paper whose texture brings every detail of the composition to life.

Careful selection of paper and format, typographic harmony, mastery of engraving techniques and meticulous finishing: since 1880, every project entrusted to the Maison has received the closest attention.
