Benneton Graveur Editions presents an art bronze edition of L’Ours couché sur le dos (Bear lying on its back), after a work by Antoine-Louis Barye (1795-1875), a major figure in 19th-century animal sculpture.
Created in the 1830s, this sculpture depicts the animal in a very natural pose. Lying on its back, the bear seems to play with its paw, in a scene that is both lively and expressive.
The quality of the modeling and the precision of observation testify to Barye's talent for accurately rendering the attitudes and character of the animal world.
Each copy is numbered from 1 to 500/500 and bears the "Benneton Graveur Éditions" stamp.

We deliver in mainland France and internationally.
For deliveries to the United States, shipping via FedEx may also be offered.
